July Program Redwood Reg Audubon - Shared screen with speaker view
If you have questions for the speaker, put them in the chat and he will address them at the end of the talk,
is speaker sharing slides?
Yes, you can change the view you are seeing so you can see the slides.
Will the recorded presentation be posted? If so, where will we be able to find it?
It will be posted on the rras.org website.
Why annual temperature and not average annual minimum temperature or avg annual max temperature?
Did you see shifts in the overall community btw years? Or did the relative habitats you described (arid scrublands, coniferous forests, cavity nesters, etc...) support the same relative richness from year to year?
If you had a do over on the study, what would you change?
Some bird populations are growing because of human impacts. Is this considered natural or "good" for the rest of the ecosystem? Thx.
Did monsoonal rains tie into this in some way... birds use desert areas for molt migration?
Do you have plans to sparse out the indirect impacts (phenological mismatch, loss of biomass, etc)?
Who is the colleague you just mentioned?
Thanks so much! Terrific information. -Carol
