Virginia Dept of Health Office of Environmental Health Services is wanting to know if any wastewater systems in Virginia are participating in COVID 19 virus testing. This is being looked at as a potential way to detect virus hotspots and develop a response. If your wastewater facilities are testing for COVID 19, VDH would like to hear about it. Please email Douglas.Canody@vdh.virginia.gov with brief response giving name of the utility, partners in this if you have partners and a contact name and phone number that VDH can use to contact you for more information.
