Chaplain Dennis & Fr. Jeff’s suggestions when conducting a zoom funeral: It would be best if these were scheduled on a weekday. Sundays are made difficult with fewer admin and support staff to assist in transporting residents Make it simple. some residents struggle to follow the order of service if it involves turning pages. Provide an order of service to family members Send instructions to family attending to mute microphones during the service The extended zoom time for the family was very beneficial to them so remember to stay out of the family’s conversation. Let them have their time together.
Has anyone else held a virtual/zoom funeral?
