Question for the group: Are arts groups concerned about how the new proliferation of free or minimal cost events may affect how the general public values arts programming in the long-term? Might it hurt the industry's ability to rebound when traditional programming becomes viable again?

I bring 30+ years of involvement in the Bloomington arts community - I've been involved in several attempts to unify the arts community - i would suggest that this is a time to explore that challenge again. We should be coordinating our individual efforts as organizations to a cohesive approach to being an "arts community" as a whole.

My expertise is in both the arts and the environment. Arts organizations are a lot like the environmental groups in that they segment themselves. Partnerships can help.

Krista Detor is going to present 2 plays live in a very creative way that I think could be duplicated. I can explain.
