With parks reopening what is Santa Monica doing to protect children and their families from folks who sleep and wander in the parks without ppe to secure social distancing? It’s one thing to open the parks, it’s another to have families actually feel comfortable to use the public parks this summer.

In response to the “What is Santa Monica Cares?” question: Santa Monica Cares is the communication/outreach effort developed in partnership with 10 community organizations to elevate information and resources related to economic recovery. Right now there is a community survey and free business toolkit available at santamonica.gov/economicrecovery. We will continue to share more Santa Monica specific materials and information as reopening efforts continue forward.
