STR can rent only to a single family. What about extended family members, i.e. aunts cousins grandparents?

We are wondering why the commissioners approved a variance request with the state for just campgrounds, restaurants and churches? Why wouldn't they include lodging and other industry groups like outfitters/guides? I understand they approved the request letter in case they need it but they haven't actually submitted it. We thought it would be prudent to approve the same for other groups.

There was a lot of confusion because the new health order does not specify under the lodging section that starting May 15 it is for people "in Gunnison County" only. It does have that separate statement under the outfitting/guides section and personal trainers, etc. but not under lodging. Then both newspapers reported we are open for visitors May 15, without specifying in county only. A local realtor sent out multiple emails stating the county is open May 15 to ALL visitors. The county must realize that it is going to be a busy holiday weekend with visitors - they're already here anyway.

The VRBO up the road from us had two vehicles from WY in the drive this weekend, so yes, visitors are already here.
