3 questions that have been sent in ahead of time to meeting..1.Need for a Covid-19 policy for staff in office and on site2.When we end Furlough can we bring people back on reduced hours, perhaps equal to 80%?3.can we reduce staff hours? is there a notice period we have to give ?
From Me to Tim Scrace: (Privately) 09:51 AMI have a number of office based staff who have been successfully working from home. Most, if not all, would like to come back to the office even if on reduced hours, new measures etc. Given Boris said work from home if you can, would I be exposed if we put measures in place to allow some office based working?
To what extent do businesses now need to look at what the new 'normal' looks like. If employees have been able to do their jobs perfectly well from home - why would they need to come to the Office? Why would you need to have an Office and all the on-costs? Why would employees need to commute? If you don't have the conversations then you wouldn't get the ideas!
