Thank you for sharing Leona. Everyone, please submit your questions to the Q&A so we can answer them during the webinar.
FNPSS will be circulating resources to all those registered for the webinar by email, as well posting information on upcoming webinars and resources from past webinars at fnps.ca/webinars.
FNPSS is finalizing a one-page resource sheet on food security that will be made available to registrants this week. Also, for those interested in the “Planning for Food Security” toolkit that Milica mentioned, it can be found at https://www.fnha.ca/WellnessSite/WellnessDocuments/FNHA-Planning-for-Food-Security-A-Toolkit-for-the-COVID-19-Pandemic.pdf.
They are talking about funding... can Maybe email Tamara@FourOurFuture.com as their team has been compiling funding resources in their work with communities to update or create their own plans/proposals re: starting or expanding greenhouses, community gardens, support for harvesting, food distribution, canning programs, etc. that aligns with the FNHA toolkit link provided by Bronwen. they're about sharing whatever find!
If you haven’t already joined the First Nations Administrators Network Facebook group, please do so at https://www.facebook.com/groups/theFNAN. It’s a great place to post questions and resources and find out about upcoming webinars and training opportunities.

Thanks Jaimi - its Laura Aucoin from Community Initiatives at ISC...some First Nation communities have incorporated community gardens/food security into their Comprehensive Community Plan. There are examples of communities that have started a community garden through quick start projects in the implementation phase 3 - if you would like examples or to be connected with First Nations that have started community gardens you can connect with me at Laura.Aucoin@canada.ca
