Joni suggested aiming for 50% capacity of vans, mini busses, etc.
In events, a “person” counts as a unit / household. If you have a brother-sister pair, are they 1 or 2 ?
my kids all went to the dentist today and had their temperatures taken before they could have their teeth cleaned :)
Holly, we are actually getting new information about what a unit is during events, so we don’t know yet what that will mean for programming. I think it is a safe assumption that 1 unit will equal 1 person in programming. We’ll try to get this information out as soon as possible.
Is Summer Experience at the schools being taken upon arrival each day?
Is adult softball going to be required to take tempatures?
Janna Hansen, Crested Butte
The temperature requirement as currently written is for youth programming only.
our students have to sign a health waiver before coming to class. we’re hoping this will help them be more aware/understanding.
Lynna can you share how you trained early childhood staff, and is that something we should think about providing for this entire group before programming starts?
Are staff trainings under the same gathering size of groups no larger than 10? Wondering if we could have two groups of 10 in two different “pods” that are x feet apart? I feel like I’ve read something suggesting 16’ apart for different groups?
I don't know if this is the list Jenn was specifically referring to but here is what I found:https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-registration/list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars-cov-2
Jenn could we get your email for specific disinfecting questions?
Right now we have a space with two rooms on two floors - is it an option to have the two groups of 10 starting out June 1 and increasing numbers June 29? Also, I think in addition to the group size, there is a minimum square foot per person/ child that needs to be met. Is that right and if so, could you remind me of those numbers?
Standard Precautions course online: https://ecpd.costartstrong.org/ets/home
I have two questions - one is about what we are being guided to do when or if someone in the group reports that they have COVID or if a kid’s parent does ?
Holly, I think that info is in the early childhood plan under “Exclusions” :-)
And the other question is more “relational” - we have heard that some programs are considering a “locals only” group and then a “mixed” group because many locals are expressing concern about potentially mixing / not mixing with visitors. We don’t want to open the can off worms that happened before with part time residents feeling unwelcome.
Rachel can you send me that plan ?

This link outlines the steps to take if student or staff member shows symptoms of COVID-19
You might consider a time period of self-isolation recommendation before registration for people that have recently traveled, whether they are local or not, to help people feel confident in participating. Something to ponder.
I thought we were going to try to have a webinar training for all in this group and their staff.
When do we expect to submit the plan ? And how long will it take for approval ? I’m sure Joni is totally flooded.
Thanks Darcie! I was looking for that to share with Holly. :-)
Thank you everyone!
Hooray! Thanks Ashley and Lynna!!
Trailhead yes please
Thank you so much everyone!
