one of the negatives for me has been the very slow reaction of local and national govermnment
Suzanne - Silver Sharers
31:18
Positives - grant funders acknowledging the role digital plays in helping an organisation to deliver its services.
Jon Woolfson
32:36
Interesting, Robert - on the other hand community groups have sprung up to (at least partly) fill the void, able to mobilise quicker.
Suzanne - Silver Sharers
34:50
Another positives - the shortening of the grant funding time - from applying to releasing funds and the applications becoming much easier to complete and more equitable for those who are unfamiliar with the process
Robert
39:22
a positive of me was the help we got from our local MP, he push the local government and banks and has provided some realy useful contacts

I can't stay for the whole session- apologies, the subject is really interesting to me but if I do I will follow up with the recording. I'd be really interested in hearing the panels views about in response to what happened to George Floyd and continues to be a problem for us all in response to racism towards the Black community. How do you see that will and should have an impact on how social enterprises tackle social justice issues post Covid?

Speaking as a recent graduate of the School of Social Entrepreneurs Fellowship, I know there’s a lack of understanding around what defines a social enterprise

Hi everyone - this a great call, really interesting. Apologies too but I can’t stay for the next part. I look forward to listening to the replay. Really agree that the system needs to achieve scale and that requires big investment.

We are clear about definition through our accreditation www.socialenterprisemark.org.uk

Lucy, I understand that but my cohort struggled with knowing how to best incorporate their business and even SSE now accepts charities so it’s not so cut and dry for people that are new to the sector
Hugh
