How will input re neighborhoods that are changing and have an increase in seniors and their subsequent needs be incorporated into your operations? Timeliness re adjustments and effective solutions to accommodate those changing needs will be important.

What percentage of rider operations does VIA Trans account for, in terms of number of riders and in terms of budget share?

Need for VIA anywhere in San Antonio will increase for every economic sector as seniors have to quit driving for additional reasons aside from economic reasons.

Need specific examples by area of SA what improvement would be planned. General broad examples or program titles will not be supported.

On the same vein, seniors will need some instruction on how to ride the bus. If ALIR ever starts in person classes again, instructional presentations would be of benefit.

How has the express service from Stone Oak work out? Was it viable? Is ridership increasing?

Next week. the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane on I-10 is due to open, and the following year the US 281 HOV will come on line, The Stone Oak Park and Ride will enable buses to exit from the Park and Ride directly onto the HOV lane, expediting traffic. Most of the funding came from TX DOT.
