Having the steps being broken down into really bite sized pieces are things I am still working on!
Perfect is the enemy of the GOOD!
So true Claire
I believe scheduling time to actually DO projects is my struggle. Blocking out those times, you know?
Love that Claire!
Totally relate, Sabrina.
I think Stacey isn't in any more??
I really think this course has been teaching us a form of project management. Understanding that everything is a project rather a task.
I've heard good things about The Body Keeps the Score. I don't know if it applies here, but it might be worth a try. Has anyone read it?
On my list to read
You'll have to share cliff notes when you get to it ;)
Good for you! That sounds amazing
I just uncovered my husband's headphones so he could hear that
I had a friend who told me when she was a mom of a young kids her husband used to book her a room at a hotel for a night every so often so she could go get some good sleep and peace. She used to call it "hotel sleep". I have craved that - more the peace than the sleep.
Thanks for sharing that, Stacey. I needed it!
Yes! Ditto, Stacey! Really helpful perspective!
glad to hear it! it has been life-changing for me.
I've been sneaking in fitness exercises throughout the day because I could not figure out how to do a whole block of fitness time. It's helped me take care of my self and feel good at the end of the day
@sabrina all of us visionary/big picture types need someone like you by our side! It is awesome that you are using your strengths to help her
Any time and every time we teach someone else we get to know it better!
Seriously- Sabrina I think you are describing what it must be like to work with me!
@molly I feel like you are hyper organized being Rachel's assistant!
I am realizing I totally used to do that to plan out my year when I was teaching elementary school! @Claire thanks for reminding us of that, I probably should do that for homeschooling too!
Yes! Good idea, Stacey! Me too!
I'm curious -- how many of you are 100% homeschooling? (Like your kids are not enrolled in a school at all)
We are, Stacey.
We are remote learning for now, but I may pull my daughter. I’m getting everything ready just in case. The remote learning environment was a total fail for her last spring.
Me too! Yes please! System tours!
