I have been setting alarms on my phone and writing a daily schedule on a post it note to have it available "at-a-glance" - because of having a greater difficult time remembering. And I do not have ADHD.
Great meeting. Sorry I have another appointment. by the way, I did a blog on disappointment and grief. If you are interested, it is on my website: www.managingyourmind.com/blog
Very helpful. Thanks, have to go too.
Mary - I have a large written calendar AND I enter the information on a Google calendar (with a reminder 15 minutes before each meeting)- I update every night before I go to sleep.
I had a referral yesterday from a local therapist I don't even know who had converted to a regular clients. I am going to contact and thank and chat so I can cross-refer.
I haven't been missing meetings but I have been struggling with keeping up with session notes and daily check ins. All of this has been happening while I have had to switch my medication and doctor (resident that graduated without giving me a heads up). It has been so hard and I totally feel like an imposter because I do feel like I need to have my ADHD figured out.
Thank you Lynn.
