We are now a COVID free ALF. Are there any restrictions on accepting new residents?
We are now a COVID free ALF, can we begin having communal gatherings outside for small groups as long as we're adhering to safe distance, masking, etc. protocols?
Any info on ASAP testing
Can Covid be considered as our table top and live drill for 2020?
Is the state working on a plan to implement if the Governor doesn't continue to extend the state of emergency next week?
We made buttons with pictures of ourselves to wear while wearing a mask.
Hi, I'm sorry, to date I do not have an update from the State Fire Marshal's Office on a formal letter regarding fire drill exceptions. As soon as I do I will relay to both Kristen and Matt Gatzke.

For Wendy Smigelski if still on the line. We have a resident room that needs new carpeting following a resident passing. The carpet company is willing to pass supplies and have the staff member use the window to enter the room. We have a UV light that we can use to treat the room after. Is this acceptable?
For Wendy - it's just an extra precaution.
Do you think that the LTC Stabilization program will be extended beyond the 30th?

I truly value these teleconferences. Is there any plan to discontinue them? I am hopeful they will continue as this situation keeps evolving, even if we see fewer questions on certain days!

Do you know if the majority of stand alone ALs are going forward with testing of residents and staff at this time? Or people waiting for future direction from the state?
We are testing the National Guard will be coming out. For Everyone's peace of mind we wanted to do this. All my staff were all tested at a drive thru one when the national guard comes to do the residents they are re doing my staff also.
Here's the email for waivers or staffing needs and any other questions!
Another outlook: if facilities have tested, do you plan to continue, and on what frequency?
Amy R. Thornton
for those who have tested all residents and staff, what is your plan for testing going forward?
we are testing 100% staff every 10 days as well as 10% residents
Amy R. Thornton
Brenda P. are you in LTC or AL?
We're attached to LTC so we'll do all staff every 10 days and then 10% of residents
same here Christine
for surveillance testing of ALF attached to a LTC - After initial baseline testing10% of the total resident beds you are licensed for and 100% of staff (not mandatory) every 7-12 days
We are waiting for a clear recommendation from the state on AL testing. Even though they may not have it organized for us, are they recommending it for staff and residents in stand alone ALs?
Thank you ALL, have a great week and stay safe!
