Are there any business income restrictions associated with this grant?
Cobb Chamber
56:40
PPP Recipients must divulge if they have received PPP funding at the time of their application. The first review of applications will be focused on those applicants that did not receive PPP funding. If we are able to open up the review process to include applicants that have, we will do so. We will have to go before the Commissioners to make that change to our Grant agreement, but we are still encouraging those companies that received PPP funds to apply.

Are Full Time Equivalents included. For example if we have two employees working 20 hours a week - is this considered one full time employee?

01:32:05
Third time trying to ask this question: What are the requirements for spending the 40% on?
Cobb Chamber

Hi Ed - Yes

Olivia - They would need to be W2 employees working 30+ hours/week.

If you received the PPP loan, can you qualify for the SelectCobb grant?
Cobb Chamber
01:35:59
Hi Chip - We aren't sure how many companies will apply, but we will do our best to help as many as possible!
Adriana Addleton
01:36:41

Cobb Chamber
01:36:54
Hi Keisha - PPP Recipients must divulge if they have received PPP funding at the time of their application. Sandie Harris
01:40:43
what happens if the grant is received, but funds aren't used for the requires things? PPP requires that the loans be repaid if funds weren't used appropriately. What happens with this grant?
Cobb Chamber
01:42:18
Hi Kentricia - If your taxes are not complete - you can use the P&L and Balance Sheets from 2019
Gina Kong
01:42:29
Did I understand Dana correctly? The use of AT LEAST 60% of the funds has to go to personnel. Therefore more than 60% of the funds can be used for personnel. I ask because I thought it had to be a hard 60/40 split, but is it a minimum of at least 60% to personnel ?
Cheryl Draa Moran
01:42:49
I understand that those who received the PPP will be 2nd choice. Assuming that may be an option, could the Board of Commissioners vote asap that this could be an option if there is money left over? Rather than wait to see how many grants go to those who did not receive PPP?
Amy Barnes
01:44:11
How are the funds actually paid - format? Will it be a check? Do we have ot supply a bank account (more risky)?
Cobb Chamber
01:44:12
Hi Brain - Yes. 40% of the funds can be used for other COVID related expenses including marketing to new clients.

01:49:36
Hi Kendall - We would be happy to discuss your specific situation more - Email us at grants@selectcobb.com
Amy Barnes
01:49:59
The reason some of us are asking about business licensing is that we had to turn to what was a hobby with negligible income - like a few bucks here and there - and then had to pivot through losses of main income jobs and convert our small business into a full-time venture. What penalties would we have to pay for coffee shop work that was turned into a home business? Not sure what exactly triggers the requirement for a license.
Cobb Chamber
01:50:21
Hi Amy - We can't change those requirements as they are in our agreement to administer these grants.
