Hi Nick, Sara - could I mention that the Conference has not been forgotten about? Andy Cox is down as key note speaker, so maybe when he does his bit?
yes bob I will mention when we do the q&a with andy
please can everyone put themselves on mute (apart from Andy)
Have the police had to change the way they communicate with victims?
thanks pauline - I will ask this on your behalf once Andy finishes speaking - thanks!
Are The Met prioritising tackling behaviours which put vulnerable road users at risk?
Have TfL been helping the victims with the use of the Sarah Hope Line?
Andy Cox - Its great work you are doing in London, is it being replicated across the country?
Is there a practical and efficient way for members of the public to report speeding drivers and vehicles? We often witness cars driving by where the driver obviously ignore any hands waving them to slow down.
do you think lockdown has changed police attitudes towards road danger and also how have collision investigations been impacted as a result of covid-19 e.g. how can you collect cctv if shops are closed?
why are police so lenient towards drivers?. Not all cases of suspected dangerous driving even go to the CPS

Excellent presentation thanks
When the knife crime epidemic happened, traffic police were transferred to the violent crime team. Do you think the reverse should happen (from violent crime or other departments) now we are seeing increased road danger
Should antecedent checks with DVLA not be part of a quality investigation
Hi I sent 2 questions via email to info@
We are being encouraged to use alternatives to public transport , for example: bikes. Have you any contingency plans to deal with potential increase in bike users ?
Andy, you mentioned a number of changes in police powers and the law you feel would reduce road crashes. Do you have a view on which one change would make the biggest impact, if we had to campaign for one change?
can you ask Andy what his view is on GDL?
Here in Southampton we have a cyclist fatality rate more thn twice the national average, Most are the result of collisions with Lorries. What have you done in London to reduce the incidence of cyclists killed by lorries?
Thank you Andy
Thank you so so much Andy!
Thank you very much to Andy and the MPS
I shall tweet that Supt. Andy Cox is still willing to be keynote speaker at our Conference: "Reducing Road Danger: Empowering local communities in London" (which has not been forgotten) and that he is very well respected on social media by the road danger reduction community. In particular his commitment to make speeding socially unacceptable and have a change in sentencing - roads and traffic police offices work very hard, often to say those convicted receive derisory "punishment".
sounds good - thanks Bob

I'd still like to mention the conference!
Bob I will mention it!Fear not
Harry Dunn's parents got vast publicity at enormous cost. But no reference to any other victims or bereaved. Can we build on this?
How do you actively “find” victims i.e. visiting hospitals, rehab centres an /pr working with NHS trusts on making sure victims and patients are aware of the support they can get
What training and/or induction have the new trustees had?
