AT OHIO has a wonderful assistive technology lending library atohio.org

02:34:54
Please clarify what are “Lending Libraries”. Which are they? What is available to lend? etc

02:36:03
Is there Funding help for the College based Transition Programs such as Kent State's CCS? Can a waiver be used?

02:38:05
My son is in 9th grade. Still confused about how CCBDD, ODD, and high school interface. Who is the point person- the parent? transition coordinator at HS? Who would help identify assistive technology at this juncture? Who could help explore how to address something like a sensory issue which could potentially interfere with a youth's vision of future employment i.e. noise sensitivity?

02:39:35
I was told by my son's IS that it is the parent who is the point person and responsible to explore all of this during school years.

02:39:53
Honestly, I could use a little help.

02:42:48
Please fill out the evaluation for tonight's session: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/sv/5T94vU4

02:43:38
I really appreciate the support and response!

02:44:31
It is a transition program, not a college degree

02:45:45
Are there resources or funding for a one on one support person to go along to college with the individual to assist with communication, technology use, behaviors, safety?

02:45:52
Thank you for the response re lending libraries.

02:46:05
Had no idea about this resource

02:47:45
Are there instances where indivduals can have a support person to go to work with them

02:48:03
Are we able to get a copy of the chat for the links

02:48:05
Thank you!
