How does one find the expert to work with the complexities of the various systems? And doesn’t the customization impact the future system upgrades?

So documenting data flows and business rules are key foundational actions, yes?

And data privacy kind of complicates things a bit too with integrations with third parties

Next time we redo our back of house and website, we need to put more time into the planning

When looking at an integration be sure to consider what data you really need.

need to make sure we know our objectives - manual integration isn't necessarily bad in the circumstances

I second Larry’s comment. Thinking ahead not just to current integrations, but how things might work years down the road when systems need to be swapped out.

Need to place a higher priority on integration.
