is there a specific term for when an eradicated population re-appears?

Some areas (counties or specific landowners) are very well surveyed for priority Eradication targets-think Edgewood Park-Mt Tam. Others like Ventura County- Los Padres National Forest or Happy Camp Canyon County Park are iNaturalist/Calflora deserts. How have you encouraged surveys in these areas to determine if there are any eradication targets (A rated weeds).

Agreed - funding multiple years of monitoring after removal is difficult - granting agencies seem to be reluctant to fund lengthy monitoring projects.
