Biggest takeaway: the conversational placement of folk, I need to dig more into how does that look for me. Funny enough country (probably because there’s more attack) its easier. I think I’ll go to an 8 on identifying.

I hadn’t realized how much instrumentation affects how we perceive the voice! With folk, it was interesting to hear how the voice’s natural inclinations affected the style. With country, I hadn’t realized how “big and full” country sound is. Nasal, yes, but also intense. The sound almost reflects the environment of the music.
