I’m in W Palm right now and the county mandates masks in public areas where social distancing is not able to be done. it’s required entering and exiting the restaurants. I personally do NOT want a mandate put on me and my rights. I get tested every 2 weeks as a responsible measure for my clients, neighborhood, and friends. I have 2 friends right now that have been strict on wearing masks, gloves and so on but they both still got it. I don’t wear a mask and I’m healthy. I wash my hands appropriately.

Good afternoon, I'm just curious to know what Sandy Springs City is doing, or plans to do, to ensure businesses here are protected from potential looters/ rioters and crime as this civil unrest continues.

As Public Officials, are there any specific programs planned to educate and talk on the subject of race relations? I missed the full message and I am not sure it was addressed?

What is the URL to find out when these racial discussions/dinners will occur? I like the idea of these open conversations within our diverse community.

Your previous State of the City Addresses have focused on the three goals or issues you ran for reelection on, and you mentioned transportation, but do you have any updates on the other two, north end redevelopment and water?

Will the City consider easing temporary signage restrictions to help those businesses who are open but are keeping their showrooms closed? Curbside pick up signage and other helpful exterior signs are vital during this time to facilitate communication with customers, and keep workers as safe as possible.

Kristin Madison - yes that's a great point. I'm sure that's something we would consider (I'm only one of 6 councilmembers) - but I know our staff is monitoring this. Please send me an email at abauman@sandyspringsga.gov - or write to Jtolbert@sandyspringsga.gov who oversees Community Development.

With the discussion of water, I recently had it tested and it grew bacteria under the test and had unsafe levels of lead. Do I take this up with SS or Atlanta?
