Great Insights, Osato. On inflation and consumer behaviour, I guess surging prices are forcing consumers to ask the hard question: Can I live without it? As a consumer, I guess my spending habits are starting to shift to priorities. Nonso Ndumanya from Nigeria.

01:27:06
very true. Remediation

01:29:01

Who is this Media spending the highest ?
Carol Nyaga
01:34:34
Great Francis! I look forward to hearing from One Pulse. Though the advertising spend trends are incomplete without capturing OOH Spend
Simon Peter
01:38:52

Farahab Wangui
01:44:24
I actually haven't seen those billboards
Carol Nyaga
01:44:43
It was a refreshing use of OoH to push a direct marketing message 👌🏾
Femi Laoye
01:45:13

Femi Laoye
01:45:51

Simon Mwanzia
01:46:33
On the OOH, smart way to pitch for big business.
June Congo
01:47:24
I saw the billboards and in as much as it was an interesting and quirky approach , I am not confident that the general public got the message. Which I guess boils down to who their TA was?
Marie Ann Nyambura Muhiu
01:52:04
Yeah. Bolt advertises way too much on YouTube.
Fatima
01:53:00
so does yango. I think they are using the same tactics (cab services) but geopgraphically.
Joy
01:53:32
on the third point : brands advertising too much, is the issue with the consistency or the content of the advertisement?
Albert Nguku
01:54:24
How was the 535 sample distributed nationally?
Fatima
01:54:54
we may need to stretch by 10 minutes for the QA at the end.
Carol Nyaga
01:55:10
Is it possible to unpack the assertion about too much advertising? Is it about the volume of ads (like Bolt on YT) or the quality/ appeal of the ad?
Fatima
01:56:22
Hi All, please bear with us so that we don’t rush this, we may go over by 10 to 15 minutes
Farahab Wangui
01:57:39
I think cate kamau works because she is very relatable. I look at her I see me. combined with the price of the product nice and lovely found a good influencer
Femi Laoye
01:58:33
Regarding excessive advertising, I think a number of factors put consumers off - Confusing and annoying content being tops. Another may be non-relevance of the brand to consumers
Itah Wangechi
02:01:22
I believe excessive advertising with the right message builds curiosity which is key for brands.
Muthoni Mahinda
