Hi everyone! Kenneth so nice to see you again! I am Alejandra Zavala and work with MCDPH and I am the new Community Health Improvement Specialist for the HIPMC and win for the week is to have 8 hours of sleep :-)

10:26
That's great! Thanks, Julie.

12:16
Hi Alejandra! Congrats on the new role! Glad you could join us

Hello, All. I'm Twanna Anderson, Program Manager at United Food Bank. I had so many wins this week, new connections, new collaborations, grant funding for child nutrition programs. It's been an amazing week!

14:11
Awesome! Thanks, Twanna. I had a feeling you'd have some wins. :)

Here's the full list of the Biden-Harris transition team: https://buildbackbetter.com/the-transition/agency-review-teams/

16:50
Thanks for sharing that, Ashley!

Are they not required to comply with the mask mandate?

28:02
is it possible to characterize a winning agenda, mandate, call to action in state?

29:29
great question

40:07
Just wanting to mention that the Native communities really came out to vote to flip a few states. Woo-hoo!!

40:40
Yes! Wonderful point, Cherilyn.

41:17
Thank you DEEPLY for all your work on that, Cherilyn!

44:54
Earlier this week *I heard* from an NSAC call that the COVID relief would depend very much on a phone call between Biden and McConnell which was supposed to happen earlier this week.

45:16
I work with AZ Heroes to Hometowns for their Turkeys to Troops event each Thanksgiving. Kathy expressed that their donation were way down this year as most are focusing on COVID relief so they cannot take care of as many families this year even though so many need the help.

47:57
And you did all of that on top of still growing and feeding your community too Cherilyn! Bravo!

48:04
Amazing! Thank you Cherilyn!

53:11
Has there been any update on P-EBT distribution to families with students?

54:28
YOU GUYS MAKE A DIFFERENCE! THANK YOU!!!!!!

54:58
Thanks for the love, Paul & Melanie!

56:00
Thanks, just asking because some of our Double Up partners (SNAP retailers) are getting USDA calls/texts about P-EBT but i haven't been able to give them much info to help interpret the messages.

57:12
For anyone else that works with small and mid-size farmers & ranchers, I would encourage them to call their local FSA agents to see if they qualify for direct payments from USDA via CFAP-2. We've heard from one Phoenix farm that the application took less than a half hour to complete, and he got approval yesterday. While the program isn't perfect, it does seem like a lot of our farmers market/CSA providers will be eligible: https://www.farmers.gov/cfapm...big thanks to Kelley for helping get word out about yesterday's webinar!

57:30
Thanks, Kelley. I'd be happy to help try to trouble-shoot any questions on P-EBT if you want to send my way.

01:00:09
Thank you

Have a great weekend.
