Can you share your thoughts about spelling? The Principal at my first graders school told my husband last week that it’s not as important as long as she is writing close sounds
so the process of breaking down the words into syllables is 1 break into syllables 2 air write 3 picture the word 4 explain the sounds you hear? more or less?
break into syllables, talk about the sounds that heard, YOU are going to write it correctly, then child will air write, visualize the letters in different spots — what’s the third letter that you see? for example, ask a few times and do it backwards, then they write it property BOLDING all the corrections
can’t hear u too well
it’s better now
my older son makes fun of me uz I’m corny too I have a hard time rhyming in a good way but I guess practice helps
I would do that through the whole book but it makes so much more sense every other page and a few words at a time
