44:46
He spoke to me like a peer not a person who was less than

44:54
Patient. Reminded you you already had the skills and abilities to do a task ; provided the guidance and support to get there

45:03
Genuine presence, encouraged me to do better but also acknowledged my strengths, taught by example

01:06:05
Ahhh Louise....she was so sweet but heaven help you if you wore your greens to clinic! That was definitely a no-no to her!

01:07:26
wonderful and so true -

Post comments and Q & A currently happening for Dr. Blake; the afternoon program will resume at 1255PM.

To comfort always , to alleviate often and to cure sometimes

01:19:42
Thank you for reminding us about the importance of laughing and having fun. We are often so focused on expertise, performance, professionalism, academia, etc. that we forget that we are also allowed to enjoy our job and our colleagues!!

01:26:33
See you all at 1255PM

01:27:59
Thanks so much Jenny!

02:14:25
That sounds like a Fellowship project @Alice!

02:30:25
My question related to issues of intersectionality, which was addressed in part by Jon's question. Congratulations on an excellent study and presentation!

Thank you!

Make it NATIONAL through SOGC !

02:37:42
I wonder how we can better engage PDs to increase their response rates to resident research projects?

02:43:33
Sorry if my question was misinterpreted; Zoe, you did an amazing job! I think the PDs should recognize the importance of your research and be more willing to contribute to it.

Thanks to everyone’s support of the SNACS pilot! You were tremendous! Will start full trial soon!

04:26:42
Amazing idea! I would be on board to help with that, Norah!

04:28:23
THanks, Michelle. Really needed this little break!

04:47:43
Great presentation, Marina!! Such a cool research topic

04:47:54
Fascinating ! But why do you need this - is not the rigour of the 95Th confidence level enough ? - I have always thought that instead of requesting MORE certainty , who should use Baysean Analysis which allows us to find differences with lower event rates ?

04:48:24
“The numbers will confess to anything if you torture them long enough”

04:48:29
“There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics”

04:50:15
It SHOULD give us nightmares, Dr Barrett! Haha. We should definitely critique RCTs more (disclaimer: not a methodologist)

04:51:13
Disruptive statistics!

04:51:53
Going to e mail dr Iorio at HEO to have a Rounds Debate ! Look what you started now ! well done!

04:51:57
Hei

04:52:12
Thanks Dr. Barrett- certainly!! This is controversial in what I’ve read. I view this as a metric to provide context to a statistically significant result- not necessarily discredit it, but to think critically about results that change our practice

04:52:45
You know you are having a great research day when your JUDGES are so excited 😜

04:52:57
I think it’s another way of arguing for large, simple RCTs (Richard Peto)Well done team!

04:54:06
Actually I always thought that Baysean is the way to go! Just got tp get the editors to agree

04:56:20
Just as a clarification, LSHTM is not moving ‘away from p-values’ but rather cautioning that we need to talk about the strength in confidence in the significance of the result (with smaller and smaller p-values allowing us to have greater confidence in the significance). The message being that having a p value of 0.05 does not magically mean that the result is truly significant and absolutely trustworthy.

04:56:44
do you mean Mathew Leonardi PHD!@!!

04:57:24
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

05:00:32
Sam how did you come up with your list of the 30 hashtags you decided to include in your search?

05:04:20
Do you think your results were skewed to the more popular accounts being patients instead of organizations as some people do this as their full time job as a “content creator”

05:07:08
👏👏👏👏👏 Well done, Sam and team!

05:07:57
Thanks Dr. Shiplo! Knowing that only 60 % of content was accurate, how can you balance validating patients and developing rapport with needing to address some myths they may bring to the appt from social media?

05:11:03
Samantha, where did you get that amazing slide background?

05:13:25
Thanks Giulia I got it off the internet at slidesgo.com

05:34:06
MAKE SURE EVERYONE STAYS TO TH END WE HAVE TO APPRECIATE THE WINNER PLUS I HAVE A SURPRISE TO SHOW YOU THAT WILL MAKE YOU ALL PROUD

05:42:17
How do you get a presentation worthy of a National meeting from a Med student = you send then to the Dept of OBGYN at McMaster ! Well done Gynae One team!

05:42:23

Thank you Eran! Were they treated with ASA if they met FMF criteria

05:55:29
I had a similar question to Sarah- were patients on ASA and do we know about clinical risk factors in the pt group?

06:03:38
