Who manages the Mission Peak park vegetation?
JANET BARTON

Favorite Parks: California Nursery Historical Park, Shinn Park. I would like to see if there is any interface to extract a subset of trees to create tree walking tours.

In January a large portion of our Canary Pine tree broke and fell into the street. The city came to remove it and we then paid to have the remainder of the tree removed. We planted two small birch trees afterward.

Hi Tara, we're getting a few questions about tree equity, race, all income levels having equal access to trees and shade... from Lisa, Peter, and others. Would this be a good one for you?
Tara Gill

Thank you for also addressing what climate change is going to do to plants that will thrive in our area.

Also, a suggestion to help lower initial watering issues. Deep mulch the area you’re going to plant in, and you’ll use less water as the mulch will hold the water. Why does the city do this on public lands?

Thank you for the information. Sorry, but I need to leave early.
