This webinar is presented by the Dementia Spotlight Foundation and is sponsored by the Vineyard Assisted Living & Memory Care of Johns Creek, Georgia.
Dementia Friends is a global movement that is changing the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. Developed by the Alzheimer’s Society in the United Kingdom, the Dementia Friends initiative is underway in Georgia and across the United States. By helping everyone in a community understand what dementia is and how it affects families, each of us can make a difference for people touched by dementia. You become a Dementia Friend by attending a one-hour informational session led by a Dementia Friends Champion.
Join us and become a part of this movement making our communities safer, more respectful and inclusive for the growing number of people living with dementia, and those who care for them by becoming a Dementia Friend. Whitney Oeltmann, Co-Founder of Dementia Spotlight Foundation, will lead a Dementia Friends Georgia informational session during this webinar. All participants will receive a Dementia Friend Handbook (PDF) and participants living in Georgia will receive a Dementia Friend Certificate.
You will be receiving an email one hour prior to the start time with a PDF copy of your Dementia Friendly Georgia Workbook for this webinar.
