Cultivating LGBTQ+ Inclusion — Identity and Self as Instruments for Change
What is it like to simultaneously be a trans person and a professional advocate for trans people?

In honor of June being Pride month, bci’s founder Ritu Bhasin will be joined by special guest M. Dru Levasseur, an openly transgender attorney who is the National LGBT Bar Association’s Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and former Director of Lambda Legal's Transgender Rights Project, to discuss the power and challenges of employing one’s own identity as a force for change. In this conversational webinar, Ritu will ask Dru a range of questions related to inclusion, authenticity, self-identity and allyship to explore:

· Interrupting transphobia through advocacy in this difficult moment
· Issues of intersectionality including trans mental health and anti-racism in the LGBTQ+ communities
· How to cultivate trans inclusion in the workplace through allyship

Dru and Ritu are excited to hear from you as well! If you have questions that you’d like to have answered in this webinar, please send them to us through the registration form below or by emailing info@bhasinconsulting.com.
