A Deep-Dive on PAE: Understanding CHOICE’s Pre-Admission Evaluation

Join TJC’s Independence team as we take a closer look at the “Pre-Admission Evaluation” or “PAE” application process, which is an assessment TennCare uses to determine a person’s medical eligibility for the CHOICES program. This training will be an opportunity to learn more about what is specifically looked at during the assessment, will break down the PAE scoring system, address what PAE assessors are looking for, and other best practices for getting individuals access to the care they need. This opportunity is catered to families, organizations, and long-term care facilities to learn more about PAE and its importance in a CHOICES application.
