Prior to joining Tanner, Steve worked in the biotechnology and healthcare industries for over 8 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Accounting with a tax emphasis from the University of Utah. Heather Allen

Heather has over 18 years of experience serving public and private companies. Prior to joining Tanner, she was with a Big 4 accounting firm in Salt Lake City. Heather has experience from serving companies in multiple industries including technology, construction, manufacturing, consumer products, real estate, private investment, and professional services. Heather understands multiple phases of tax consulting and compliance, including issues related to C corporations, mergers and acquisitions, international tax, and flowthrough entities. Heather graduated at the top of her class from Utah State University and currently serves on the School of Accountancy’s advisory board. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
