Megan Scott (Project Manager @Oklahoma Department of Commerce - Office of Workforce Development)
Megan Scott is a project manager for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce - Office of Workforce Development. Megan has over 12 years of experience in grants and program management in public health, early childhood policy, criminal justice reform, and workforce development. Her most recent work has focused on expanding apprenticeship opportunities across Oklahoma, with a focus on the recruitment of diverse populations into apprenticeship programs and developing programs in industries most likely to see a high need for skilled workers. Megan has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Jennifer Cowns (Youth Apprenticeship Project Manager @Oklahoma Department of Commerce - Office of Workforce Development)
Jennifer Cowns joined the Oklahoma Department of Commerce-Office of Workforce Development as the Youth Apprenticeship Project Manager in October of last year where she helps to create apprenticeship opportunities for Oklahoma’s youth. Jennifer has over 12 years of public and private sector experience in program administration, data management, and policy analysis. With degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, her passion is providing economic opportunity for Oklahomans. In her current role, Jennifer assists in the development of registered apprenticeship programs by showing youth alternative career pathways. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, reading, and cooking meals with her husband.
