Laura Wolk (Associate at Kirkland and Ellis, LLP in Washington, DC. and previously served as a law clerk for the Supreme Court )
Laura currently serves as an Associate at Kirkland and Ellis, LLP in Washington, DC. and previously served as a law clerk for the Supreme Court under Justice Clarence Thomas. Laura is an accomplished graduate of Notre Dame’s Law School and lost her eyesight at 15 months of age from retinoblastoma cancer. Laura serves as a tireless advocate for people with disabilities.

Matthew Whitaker (American jazz pianist )
Matthew is a renowned American jazz pianist who has been blind since birth. He has performed at venues like Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and the Apollo Theater, where, at 10, he was the opening performer for the Stevie Wonder induction into the Apollo Theater&#39;s Hall of Fame. We are happy to announce that Matthew will also perform live for Boldly BVI attendees.

Brian Anderson (Collator Operator in the Braille Printing House at Clovernook Center )
The LIVE portion will feature Clovernook Center’s Brian Anderson. Brian is a collator operator in the Braille Printing House at Clovernook Center who also has a visual impairment. During this section, Brian will share how he lives his life and makes his dreams come true. He will also share a new poem he wrote just for BOLDLY BVI.
