Zainab had a two-year career break to care for her children. She was previously a financial analyst at Population Services International and an accountant at New Century US. Marie Struckman (VP of Operations @The Source) Marie Struckman is the vice president of operations at The Source Marketing Group. She was among the first professionals to complete a Path Forward returnship in 2015 after being out of the workforce for two years for childcare responsibilities. She provides invaluable advice for returners on thriving in a career that's non-linear from her vantage point seven years on. Pallavi Ramam (QA Engineer @Audible) Pallavi Ramam is a senior quality assurance engineer at Audible where she completed a returnship in August. She has had a career in file systems, virtualization, and storage technologies as a tester, developer, and engineering manager. She took a 12-year break to step back and re-evaluate her life during which time she authored a manuscript on creativity and reaching one’s highest potential. Sandy Goodwin (Design Operations Lead @CDK Global) Sandy Goodwin is a design operations lead at CDK Global where she completed a returnship in May. Sandy had a 12-year career break to care for her children and also for her mother. She was previously an information architect for World Vision and the executive director for the STEAM Education Resources and Lending Library. Tami Forman (Executive Director @Path Forward) Tami Forman is the executive director of Path Forward, the national nonprofit on a mission to empower caregivers to restart and advance their careers. Tami is a frequent speaker on issues related to caregiving and workforce participation.
