This second webinar presented by ACPOHE on this topic will consider the reality of using the 'Health and Work Report' in FCP practice, as a tool to support people at or absent from work.
We will hear from two physiotherapists working in NHS primary care who have research and practical experience of using the 'Health and Work report'.
Cameron Black is currently completing a Professional Doctorate. The Thesis is focussed on FCPs and their ability to take on fitness for work and sickness absence certification roles. He is also involved in a national evaluation of FCP practice, publishing articles on the topic.
Laura McColl is a practising FCP and supervisor for her team. Her current role is split between the clinical and supervisory aspect of the FCP service. As part of the role all of the FCPs use the AHP Health and Work report to facilitate patients to remain working or to support a short period away from work. Laura will share her experiences, reflections and practical tips for using the tool.
