Picnic is one of the fastest growing food startups in Europe currently growing its business in Germany and the Netherlands. But we don't just sell apples! At Picnic we have a complex and well-coordinated supply chain, in order to always deliver the correct products in the right quality on time to our expanding customer base.
In 2015, we started with a few orders coming from one Fulfilment Center and one Hub with a handful of employees. Five years later we deliver +/- 32.000 orders per day from 9 Fulfilment Centers and 57 Hubs with the help of over 7000 employees.
We have to keep on innovating our supply chain in order to make this happen, and we have developed all our tech-solutions in-house: from our warehouse management systems to our own routing planning. But tech is not the only reason our supply chain is so successful. We have a strong people focus and always try to maintain and promote our talents at Picnic!
