Gender Based Violence and Trauma-Informed Approaches to Workplace Sexual Harassment Claims
In this 1.5-hr webinar, we will discuss the impacts of trauma including neurological, behavioural, physical, financial, spiritual, emotional and interpersonal. Barriers to disclosing will be identified, and participants will learn trauma-informed approaches to receiving disclosures of gender-based violence in the workplace. Strategies for working with traumatized clients will be explored.

This webinar is presented in partnership with the SHARP Workplaces Legal Clinic operated by CLAS (Sexual Harassment Advice, Response, and Prevention for Workplaces). The presentation will be aimed primarily at SHARP Workplaces roster lawyers. However, other lawyers and law students are welcome to attend.

Our speaker will be Tracy Porteous, Executive Director of EVA BC (Ending Violence Association of BC).

Participants in this webinar may claim up to 1.5 hours of CPD credit with LSBC, including 1.5 hours of Practice Management credit.
