Combustible Dust – Little things become BIG problems when good people do nothing!
Most people think of combustible dust (activated carbon, biomass, coal) as a housekeeping issue. Once there is so much of it in one place, it is time to clean it up. What about its true hazards? The likely potential it will spontaneously combust, causing a fire or explosion. People are inhaling it and its long-term health issues? Its impact on maintenance of the handling equipment? The overall impact to business? You hear “it never happened here before” or “it will never happen here” means plants are running on luck. What happens when luck runs out? When it does, people are affected, generation is loss, and business affected.

This webinar will address what good people are doing to control the hazards of combustible dust and prevent little problems from becoming BIG problems.
