“What do we do after the world paused? As we prepare ourselves to return back to work, we dive into the social challenges ahead and how best to plan for our future workplace and lab environments through the lens of facilities management and programming. Our purpose is to discuss a range of ideas to consider as properties begin to return to normal operation. Developing key short, mid and long-term goals while implementing a “kit-of-parts’ library of ideas that can fit a range of individual site conditions will be brainstormed as each building and campus are unique.
A&E firm Stantec will share their workplace transformation survey sights into what the future workplace may look like across a spectrum of industries. They’ll touch on how new designs/builds which implement forward-thinking solutions will drive the communal workplace. In part, we will touch upon some of the challenges lab facilities are facing as we evolve the once collaborative workshare lab space to a hybrid environment with shifts and around the clock research capabilities.
Then Claudia Purdy, Associate Director of WorkPlace / Facilities at JUUL Labs will take us on serval responses to office and lab environments challenge (yes what are we doing now!!) from the end-user’s perspective. Her CRE and facilities professional background is steep, providing strategic direction and management experience with skill and expertise in all aspects of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Operations, administration, expansion, and contraction both domestically and globally. Claudia has an industry reputation for delivering on-time, on-budget facilities in diverse markets.
So join us as we learn both immediately implemented best practices responding to COVID and what will intelligently aligned workplace look like in 2021 and 2022.”
