THE DAVES: Rules at Marks and Obstructions
This new four-part webinar series offers a detailed explanation of three complex rules that come into play at marks and obstructions: Rule 18 (Mark-Room); Rule 19 (Room to Pass an Obstruction); and Rule 20 (Room to Tack at an Obstruction).

Dave Dellenbaugh and Dave Perry will explain the meaning of each rule (including all the changes to those rules in the 2021-2024 rulebook) and will then take an in-depth look at common situations at marks and obstructions around the race course.

The Daves will use videos, quizzes, animation and frequent references to relevant appeals and cases. While one Dave is presenting, the other Dave will be answering questions in the Chat.

All attendees receive links to watch unlimited replays of each session, plus a Google Doc link that will have all the questions and answers from the Chat. Join The DAVES for this entertaining and authoritative look into three very critical rules – Sundays at 7 pm EDT starting on September 13.
