Heather Weininger
Executive Director @Wisconsin Right to Life
Heather has served as Wisconsin Right Life’s Executive Director since July 2014. Under her leadership, Wisconsin Right to Life has become a national leader in reaching abortion-vulnerable women with targeted, powerful messages that change hearts and minds to favor life. Heather began her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and earned her BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Heather launched her career in former Congressman Mark Green’s office on Capitol Hill as a Staff Assistant. In 2004, she worked on the Bush-Cheney re-election campaign, followed by serving as the Finance Director for a congressional campaign and assisting with Wisconsin legislative campaigns. Her background also includes training candidates to run for local, state-wide, and national offices.
Gracie Skogman
Legislative Director @Wisconsin Right to Life
Gracie has been passionate about defending life from a young age and credits her passion for the Pro-Life cause as the driving force that launched her into politics. Gracie graduated from UW-Madison in 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and History. While in undergrad, Gracie was a member of College Republicans, Young Americans for Freedom, and founded the Political Science Student Association to promote bipartisan dialogue and community service on campus. After graduating, Gracie interned for First Lady Melania Trump at the White House and also worked for Governor Scott Walker as Office Manager. From September 2019 until January 2021, Gracie served as the Deputy Associate Director and Logistics Coordinator for the Office of Public Liaison at the White House. Gracie is married to her high school sweetheart and best pal, Clayton Skogman, a medical student at UW-Madison.
Kathryn Jean Lopez
Senior Fellow @National Review Institute
Kathryn Jean Lopez is a senior fellow at National Review Institute, where she directs the Center for Religion, Culture, and Civil Society. She is also editor-at-large of National Review magazine (where she has been on the editorial staff, including as editor of NationalReview.com, since 1997). She is published widely in Catholic and secular publications and is also a nationally syndicated columnist with Andrews McMeel Universal. Lopez is author of A Year with the Mystics: Visionary Wisdom for Daily Living (Saint Benedict Press, 2019). She speaks frequently on faith in public life, virtue, and prayer. Lopez currently serves as chair of Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s Pro-Life Commission in New York. At the opening Mass of the Year of Faith in Rome in October 2012, Pope Benedict XVI presented her with a message to women throughout the world.
