With increasing globalizations we have seen over the last decades the agricultural industry has been able to create a very efficient supply chain from famer to consumer. But what is the impact of this system on the appreciation of the craftsmanship of the individual farmers. Is there enough room for authenticity and quality in this homogeneous market?
In 2018 Lely introduced the Lely Orbiter: a mini - dairy processor that can separate milk at cow level, process it and bottle on the farm. It creates a different approach to create types of milk based on milk from individual cows, traceable milk and fresh milk, but it also enables the farmer to creates its own position in the supply chain.
In this GDF webinar Sergio Ooijens will explain the value they hope to bring to dairy farmers in this process and elaborate on the hurdles encountered along the way.
Please note that the time mentioned (8.30PM), is Amsterdam timezone. The webinar will last approx. 70-85 minutes.
