Chip Rogers
President & CEO @American Hotel & Lodging Association
Chip Rogers has been President and CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) since the start of 2019, leading America’s only national association dedicated to serving the interests of the entire hotel and lodging industry. In his role as President & CEO, Chip has led the AHLA team and the lodging industry to achieve tangible results for AHLA members. Subsequently, he has received numerous awards and has been recognized as one of the 25 most influential by Business Travel News, as one of the most influential people in Washington D.C. by Washingtonian magazine and twice as a top lobbyist by the Hill newspaper. Chip earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and his MBA from Georgia State. Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Chip served in the Georgia General Assembly. He was elected to office six times and was unanimously elected twice to serve as Senate majority leader.
Chase Oster
Sr. Business Development Executive @STR
Chase Oeser leads STR’s hotel business development team, while also focusing on the Western Region of the United States. Chase is responsible for growing STR’s network of hotel partners and strengthening their overall data set. Along with increasing the volume of room-related data, Chase also leads efforts to expand benchmark reporting in categories such as Food & Beverage, Guest Segmentation, and Operating Statistics so hoteliers will have the most accurate information to make informed business decisions. Prior to joining STR, Chase spent the past 12 plus years as an owner/operator in the parking industry allowing opportunities to work with hotels, management companies, real estate firms, and destination companies to increase revenue while maintaining superior customer service. STR provides clients from multiple market sectors with premium, global data benchmarking, analytics and marketplace insights.
Katie Doyle
State Governmnet Affairs Manager @Washington Hospitality Association
Katie Doyle, State Government Affairs Manager at the Washington Hospitality Association spent over six years in the restaurant industry both before, and during her time at the association. With a BA in political science from Seattle University and over five years at the association, Katie advocates on alcohol policy while assisting in maintaining a robust grassroots advocacy program. Her genuine passion for hospitality has helped strengthen and grow relationships with members, under her management, effective engagement is at an all-time high. Outside the office, she spends most of her time hiking and climbing in the Pacific Northwest.
