January 10 - Victory Junction
During this segment, we will be discussing the opportunities that are coming to Victory Junction this spring for campers and their families. Ryan Sykes, a Camper Recruiter for Victory Junction, will be here to answer questions and explain how to apply for a camp session. ECAC's IEP Checklist helps you prepare for and participate in IEP meetings! We'll cover the basic steps and show you where you can learn more about your areas of interest. Learn tips for before, during and after the IEP Meeting.

January 24 - NC Special Education Referral Process
Do you have concerns about your child's development or educational performance? Tune in to learn about the special education referral process in North Carolina. We will cover how to make an initial referral for special education services, who to make the referral to, what to expect at the initial referral meeting and the timeline obligations that North Carolina public schools must meet.

January 31 - Intro to the NC Infant Toddler Program
Please join us at Tool Time Tuesday where we will introduce you to the NC Infant and Toddler Program, also known as Early Intervention. In this time, we will discuss the types of supports offered and how to get in contact with the local Children's Developmental Services (CDSA). We will also discuss briefly how to track milestones and how to communicate any concerns with your pediatrician.
