As we move into a COVID safe world, venues will play an integral role in our event planning. From catering to floor plans to cleaning to crowd flow to ventilation, venues will form an active element and organisations will need to work closely with their venue.
It will no longer be a case of booking a venue, selecting your catering and sending through a runsheet – event planning will need to be a collaboration. This isn’t a short term adaption - restrictions and social distancing are here to stay for the near future and will continually change. However, this also provides an opportunity for events to be re-imagined in the new world, rather than just tweaking the old world.
It is not just taking a few chairs away from a table, it is considering the whole guest experience.
