Susan M. Hawks McClintic, Esq.

Susan Hawks McClintic is known for giving practical, commonsense advice without the legalese. Sue joined Epsten, APC in October 1990 and became a shareholder in 1999. She has supervised the firm's transactional law department since 2008, was named a managing shareholder in August 2014 and is now also President and CEO of the firm. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School and is originally from Nebraska.
Kieran J. Purcell, Esq.

Kieran Purcell attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. After serving seven years in the United States Navy, Kieran attended California Western School of Law and joined Epsten, APC in 1995. His work on behalf of community associations includes providing advice on all types of corporate matters including litigation, interpretation and enforcement of governing documents and reconstruction issues. He has been a shareholder of Epsten since 2002 and now serves as Vice President and CFO of the firm. Active in the Community Association Institute (CAI), Kieran is the Vice Chair of the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) and a CLAC Delegate for the San Diego Chapter.
Dea C. Franck, Esq.
Indian Wells Office Managing Shareholder @Epsten, APC
Dea C. Franck is a Senior Attorney and Shareholder at the law firm of Epsten, APC, managing the Indian Wells office. Dea has developed and taught countless educational programs for community association board members and managers. She plays an active role in producing her firms annual Community Association Law Resource Book, speaks at their annual Legal Symposia and is a former Board Member at CAI Coachella Valley where she continues to participates actively and speaks regularly. Dea is also a resident of the Valley and in her spare time she volunteers as a current board member for Animal Samaritans, a local animal center in the Coachella Valley.
Pejman D. Kharrazian, Esq.

Pejman Kharrazian's primary practice area is civil litigation, but he also provides prudent pre-litigation counsel to his clients. Pejman graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor of business administration, and he received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, magna cum laude. Prior to law school, Pejman was a certified community association manager. Pejman is active with the San Diego chapter of Community Associations Institute. He has also served as an adjunct law professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Jillian M. Wright, Esq.
Senior Attorney at Law @Epsten, APC
Jillian (Jill) Wright is a senior attorney in our transactional and assessment recovery department. Jill graduated, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2012 and joined Epsten, APC shortly thereafter. She received her B.A. in both psychology and political science from University of Southern California, magna cum laude. While in law school, Jill served as the Executive Submissions and Acquisitions Editor for the Hastings Women's Law Journal and competed in the ABA's Law Student Division Client Counseling Competitions. In 2011, Jillian was awarded the California Bar Association's Wiley Manuel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono.
Jon H. Epsten, Esq., CCAL

Jon Epsten is the founding shareholder of Epsten, APC, a Southern California law firm since 1986 with offices in San Diego, Temecula and Indian Wells. Jon began his career in the community association industry as a community association manager and estimates that he has likely attended close to 3,000 board meetings over the years! As a native San Diegan who graduated from the University of San Diego, Jon obtained his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating with scholastic merit. Jon has taught as an adjunct professor of law, testified on behalf of community associations, authored countless articles, contributed to multiple publications and has been actively involved in CAI throughout his entire career as a former president (multiple times), board member, speaker, author and business partner.
Anne L. Rauch, Esq.

Anne Rauch graduated magna cum laude from California State University, San Diego, with a degree in psychology in 1992, received her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law (USD) and has practiced law in California since 1996. Anne handles complex litigation and appellate matters and has honed her skills in civil law and motion practice to benefit many of our community association and commercial clients.
Jacquelyn E. Quinn, Esq.

Jackie Quinn earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. While attending law school she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joan M. Lewis, California Superior Court. Jackie also served as an Appellate Advocacy Director for Boston University, and competed as a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team. Prior to law school, Jackie attended University of California, Davis, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Human Development.
Emily A. Long, Esq.

Emily Long is an Associate Attorney in our Indian Wells office. She joined Epsten, APC in the summer of 2019. Prior to Epsten, she worked at a law firm in trust and estate litigation and planning. Emily received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in Sociology and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
Gordon A. Walters, Esq.

Gordon Walters is a senior attorney with Epsten, APC. Gordon has been a part of the construction defect litigation department since joining the firm in 2011. Gordon has also assisted in the handling of numerous appellate matters for the firm’s clients and has successfully litigated governing documents disputes through trial.
