Matt Vance is the Employee Experience Manager at Malouf. He oversees the collection and use of all employee feedback for Malouf’s 500+ employees. He leads the deployment of employee-happiness programs and evaluates initiative impacts. As a recipient of the 2020 Utah Business HR professional of the year award, Matt has been instrumental in securing Malouf as a seven-time nationally ranked best place to work. Prior to transitioning to HR, Matt established the review team at Malouf. Over 4 years he led a team managing customer reviews on 1,500 product listings across 50 plus e-commerce sites. He helped grow review volumes from 25 to 380 per day and lift Malouf’s catalog average star rating from 4.15-stars to 4.3-stars. Matt is currently authoring a review management book and has consulted many organizations in various industries. His feedback management methodologies have been nationally recognized with a 2019 Gold Stevie Award. Matt lives in Logan, UT with his wife and three daughters.

Mike leads operations for Comparably and brings extensive experience in finance, operations, and strategy to the team. In 2007, Mike co-founded DebtMarket, Inc., a web-based auction platform that connects buyers and sellers of loan porfolio. In 2011, DebtMarket, Inc. was acquired by Intercontinental Exchange, and Mike moved to Docstoc to work as COO with Pepperdine MBA classmate, Jason Nazar. Mike began his career in derivatives trading, worked as a partner for Venature LLC, and then as a senior associate for Growth Management Partners. Mike has served as a board member and advisor for numerous organizations including the Management Partners Leadership Committee, Wellhire, and the Pepperdine MBA Alumni Board.
