Ria is the Client Director of Old Mutual Private Equity (OMPE) and is responsible for leading the fund raising and investor relations functions. Ria joined OMPE in June 2021 having previously been in the Client Solutions team at Standard Bank Investment Banking. Ria’s investment banking career spans 17 years, where she has worked across diverse sectors, including Industrial and Consumer, in the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions and IPOs. Ria holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with an Honours in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
Soyisile Mokweni

Soyisile Mokweni is the Executive Chairman of Consolidated Retirement Fund. He served as a Trustee since June 2008 and as the Chairman of the Board and Investment Committee since August 2014. In the role, Soyisile provides strategic leadership to the Fund, oversight on behalf of the Board of Trustees, stakeholder engagement and attends to all statutory responsibilities of the Board. Soyisile has also served for 10 years as President of the Council for the Property Valuers Profession, 5 years in the Executive Committee of the Council for the Built Environment and as President of the Institute of Municipal Administration of Southern Africa. Soyisile has obtained a National Diploma in Property Valuation, a BTech in Business Administration, a Masters of Business Administration from Curtin University in Australia and a Post Graduate Certificate in Municipal Finance Management from Wits University.

Lebo was appointed head: manager research within Alexander Forbes Investments in July 2016. Managing a team of six researchers across traditional and alternative asset classes, he drives the investment research efforts of the business. Lebo ensures that all investment strategies, including hedge fund and private market strategies, across Alexander Forbes Investments, are well researched. He sees to it that portfolio performance meets clients’ objectives and is competitive. Prior to this, Lebo joined Investment Solutions in August 2011 as a manager research analyst, during which time Investment Solutions was rebranded to Alexander Forbes Investments. In this role he presented to clients about investment and manager research processes, compiling quarterly commentary and articles on various investment topics.
