Nicki Doane
Master Yoga Teacher
Nicki Doane is a master yoga teacher living on Maui in Hawaii. She is known for her authenticity in teaching yoga and for her ability to breakdown the asanas in a way that makes them accessible to everyone. Nicki has been immersed in the sacred teachings of yoga since 1989 and has traveled to India countless times since then to study with the masters there, including Sri K Pattabhi Jois, BKS Iyengar, and HS Arun. She has a way of using humor to make people feel at ease in the practice and can make the most basic fundamental postures fee profound. She is a teacher’s teacher and truly has a deep love for the practice of yoga. Nicki runs the Maya Yoga Studio on Maui and also travels internationally to teach as well. Nicki is a master at making yoga accessible to everyone.
Keith Mitchell
Keith Mitchell was an All Pro Linebacker. His NFL career ended when he suffered a spinal contusion in his 7th season making a routine tackle. Through the experience of this paralyzing injury, Keith learned to be a contributor to his own healing and regained all functionality through conscious breathing, meditation, and yoga. Keith’s compelling story of healing trauma through holistic practices have been featured on Dr. Oz, USA Today, People, Sports Illustrated, Fox News, The Huffington Post, Mantra Magazine, Yoga Journal, MindBodyGreen, The Los Angeles Times, Ebony, Essence, NFL Films, LA Yoga.
Aaron Nigel Smith
For the past 15 years Aaron Nigel Smith has worked to educate, empower and entertain youth and families around the world. He teaches chorus & drumming in Oregon & Washington through 1 World Chorus, Young Audiences, and the Right Brain Initiative. His most recent album, In Our America, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Charts. The 2015 release, Celebrating Bob Marley, also spent several weeks on charts. In 2012, One World Chorus released a debut CD, Welcome to the Village, to critical acclaim. People Magazine and USA today recognized the project as one of the best children’s releases of the year and the CD received a Parents’ Choice Award. His 2010 album Everyone Loves to Dance, received a Parents’ Choice Award and recognition in People Magazine. In 2009, he collaborated with Ziggy Marley the Bob Marley children’s record, B is for Bob. In 2005, Aaron’s debut album release, Let’s Pretend, won the NAPPA & IParenting Media Awards.
