Forrester Study: Total Economic Impact™ of a Cloud-Hosted PACS
Imaging IT groups today are required to do more with less, often struggling with the high costs of infrastructure maintenance and PACS upgrades, downtime and security risks and the associated impacts on patient experience and provider productivity. These challenges are driving many organizations to consider cloud-based medical imaging technologies to improve imaging technology-related expenses, employee productivity and patient experience.

To better understand the potential benefits and return on investment (ROI) with a cloud hosted PACS, GE Healthcare commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact™ study, looking at the benefits of moving to GE Healthcare’s cloud[1] hosted Edison™ True PACS[2] from an on-premises PACS. Imaging and healthcare IT leaders can use this study to build a sound business case for a cloud PACS strategy.

Join us to hear Forrester analysts discuss this study and their market research findings

-A market perspective on how organizations are migrating enterprise applications to cloud to achieve greater efficiency, scalability and security.
-Examples on how a cloud based PACS solution can enable both radiologists and PACS administrators to become more productive
-How GE Healthcare’s cloud-hosted Edison True PACS could help enable organizations to
significantly reduce costs of downtime, potentially improving PACS-related productivity by between 13% and 38%[3] and reducing a risk of a PACS-related security breach by between 30% and 50%[4]
