We Feel the Fizzling Momentum: Keeping the Heat on Disrupting Anti-Black Racism – with DEI Expert Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr.

Many of us have sensed a diminished commitment to interrupting anti-Black racism as of late—which is in stark comparison to the momentum we first felt after George Floyd’s murder. And this is exactly why we must step up our efforts to disrupt anti-Blackness.

In honor of Black History Month, we’re delighted to announce that on February 8, 2023 from 4-5pm ET, bci’s CEO, Ritu Bhasin, will be joined by award-winning anti-racism and DEI expert Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr. for a free webinar on how to keep anti-Black racism efforts at the forefront of DEI programming. Dr. Moore is the co-author of the book, "The Guide for White Women Who Teach Black Boys", and the co-founder of the "White Privilege Conference", which has now been running for over two decades. In this webinar, Ritu will lead a “fiery” fireside chat with Dr. Moore, where they’ll explore the following:
• Why the focus on anti-Black racism efforts is diminishing in workplaces
• How to keep anti-Black racism initiatives at the forefront of DEI programming
• What we need to know about offering better allyship through a “2023 lens”
